Ground straps are vital to safe vehicle operations. After looking, it looks like it is a ground strap. The big issue with the tbi grounds, is they have 2 or 3 running in the big wire harness, but they do not all connect together.

Discussion starter · #1 · jul 24, 2010. It's 2 white braided wires mounted near the intake/filter assembly on the passenger side fender. I found a ground strap clipped to the wheel well but the other end was just hanging and looked to have ripped free.
One End Is Bolted To The Body And The Other End Looks Like It Went To The Exhaust Pipe Just Before The Muffler.
